Hampton Inn & Suites Employee Wins Honor

Rogers, MN 8/25/09 - Hampton Hotels has honored Maxine Borth, Breakfast Hostess, of the Hampton Inn & Suites in Rogers, Minnesota with the company's Spirit of Hampton Award. This award signifies Borth as a top performer within Hampton Hotels.
Nominated by their peers because of exemplary loyalty, attitude and service, the chosen team member continually exceeds expectations of both customers and fellow team members. Less than one percent of all Hampton Hotels team members internationally receive this honor each year.
Borth was nominated for the award by her peers after proving to be an exceptional role model. "Borth continues to make outstanding contributions to guests and team members, showing great enthusiasm in all areas of her work at the hotel," said Stacy Brindise, GM. "We are proud of her recognition as a Spirit of Hampton Award winner, the company's most prestigious team member award. Team members like Borth create a welcoming and exceptional experience for guests, and impacts other team members and creates a domino effect of great service."
Borth has been a part of the award winning team at the Hampton Inn & Suites Rogers for two years. She came aboard before the opening in October 2007, and instantly made her breakfast department exceptional. To guests she is always pleasant, maintaining an attitude of welcome. She has a laugh that is absolutely consuming. Good morning is a constant and always sincere, and her positive attitude can and does make every single guest at breakfast start the day on a positive note. Borth represents the true spirit of Hampton Hotels and is known for greeting our repeat customers by their first names and recalling personal facts about their families and lives back home. She always strives to go the extra mile by talking to each and every guest and asking them about their stay and where they're from, bringing in coupons to local restaurants for guests, or connecting with our youngest guests by bringing them coloring books and crayons.
