David York

David joined ZMC Hotels in 2019 as the Vice President of Operations, Western Region, where he provides operational leadership for 15 hotels in Arizona, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, and Oklahoma, facilitating major property renovations, regional revenue management, and focusing on supporting, coaching and mentoring his team.

David has extensive experience in hospitality management and tourism, with more than ten years at the General Manager level for various brands, hotels, and hotel management companies in western US markets. His experience encompasses a broad range of properties, both union and non-union, branded and independent, ranging from mid-size select service to full-service upscale hotels and resort properties with large food and beverage, banquet, and catering operations. David has a strong financial acumen and a successful track record of increasing revenues and driving bottom-line results, as well as leading his properties through rebranding and major renovation projects. Prior to his hospitality career, David served in law enforcement and the US Marines.
