Brownsville, TX – ZMC Hotels, LLC, on behalf of Boca Chica Investors, LLC, has secured franchise licenses to develop and build a 125-room Courtyard by Marriott Brownsville/Boca Chica and 120-room Hyatt Studios Brownsville/Boca Chica in Brownsville, Texas. Located at the corner of Boca Chica Boulevard and Galonsky Street, these hotels will be among the closest lodging options to the City of Starbase, headquarters of SpaceX.
The Courtyard by Marriott and Hyatt Studios will offer rooms and suites with views of SpaceX rocket launches. The Courtyard by Marriott will feature a range of amenities, including meeting space, a full-service restaurant, bar, and outdoor patio, catering to both hotel guests and the local community. A launch-viewing suite with a rooftop patio will be a unique highlight of the Courtyard by Marriott, offering an unforgettable experience for SpaceX rocket launch enthusiasts. Both hotels will share access to resort-style outdoor pool and patio spaces, creating an ideal setting for relaxation and entertainment.
Groundbreaking is expected in July 2026. The hotels will be built simultaneously and are projected to open in late 2027.
