ZMC Hotels Welcomes Terry Ammons, Vice President of Operations, Southern Region
Southern Region (June 2023) – ZMC Hotels, LLC would like to welcome Terry Ammons as Vice President of Operations, Southern Region, which currently includes hotels located in North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, and Alabama.
Terry brings over 25 years of hospitality and multi-property experience from his time with Beechwood Hotel Group and O’Springs Inn, LLC. Terry began his career as a Hampton Inn Night Auditor and worked his way up to General Manager before moving to pre-opening manager of a new Hampton Inn and later as dual General Manager when a Holiday Inn Express was built next door. He has also held roles as Director of Sales, Regional Director of Operations, and Vice President of Operations.
As a General Manager, Terry was invited to participate in Hampton Inn’s Circle of Leadership, a small elite group of high performing managers within the brand. He also served as part of the inaugural group of Hampton Inn Brand Ambassadors. Terry earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee.
ZMC Hotels, LLC Awarded Management of Three Hotels in Pennsylvania and Arizona
On February 1, 2023, ZMC Hotels, LLC was selected to manage three hotels located in Pennsylvania and Arizona, which were simultaneously acquired by Zenith Asset Company IV, LLC (ZAC IV, LLC). The addition of these three hotels brings ZMC Hotels’ managed portfolio to 46 hotels across 16 states.
Two of the three new hotels, the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh/Harmarville, PA and TownePlace Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh/Harmarville, PA, are located off the Pennsylvania Turnpike, making both hotels a convenient stop for travelers and are just a few miles from the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, RIDC O’Hara, and UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. The Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh/Harmarville opened in 2015 with 108 rooms and shares a parking lot with the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh/Harmarville, which opened in 2016 with 94 rooms. Guests on upper floors of both hotels have views of the Allegheny River. ZMC Hotels also manages the Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh/Waterfront-West Homestead, allowing for market synergies to enhance performance of all three Pittsburgh hotels.
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Havasu – London Bridge, AZ opened in 2018 with 96 rooms. Its proximity to the famed London Bridge makes it a prime location for drive-market leisure travelers from the Los Angeles basin, Las Vegas, and Phoenix metro areas. The adjacent English Village Retail & Marina, also acquired by ZAC IV, LLC on February 1st, has numerous restaurants, retail stores and a marina, providing complimentary amenities to hotel guests. ZMC Hotels also manages the Hampton Inn Lake Havasu City, AZ, enabling the two hotels to leverage market efficiencies. ZMC Hotels has also been selected to develop and construct a premium brand hotel on a high profile waterfront development site adjacent to the English Village Retail & Marina, providing for additional market strength. It is anticipated that this new hotel will be the premier Hospitality asset located on the shore of Lake Havasu.
The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh/Harmarville, PA and TownePlace Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh/Harmarville, PA will be part of ZMC Hotels’ Midwest Region, led by Chris Johnson, Vice President of Operations. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Havasu – London Bridge, AZ will join ZMC Hotels’ Western Region, led by David York, Vice President of Operations.

ZMC Hotels Welcomes Paul McHenry, Vice President of Operations, Lakes Region
LAKES REGION (September 19, 2022) – ZMC Hotels, LLC would like to welcome Paul McHenry as the new Vice President Operations, Lakes Region, which consists of hotels located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
Paul brings 16 years of experience overseeing multiple hotels with variety of franchises. In his prior VPO position with Ledgestone Hospitality, Paul oversaw nine hotels, including three Hampton Inns and an AmericInn among others, for seven different ownership groups across IA, WI and MN. Paul’s brand experience encompasses nearly all brands in our Lakes Region; Hampton Inn (Hilton), Holiday Inn Express (IHG), AmericInn Splash Bay (Wyndham), Country Inn & Suites by Radisson (Choice), Best Western, and private label hotels. Paul also has F&B experience, managing a fine dining restaurant during college, working in F&B for six years for IHG corporate, and he previously owned and operated a Quiznos franchise. Paul obtained his degree in Business Administration, Hotel / Motel / Restaurant Management at Moorhead State University.
ZMC Hotels Acquires Management of Five Hotels in New Midwest Region
ILLINOIS (1), INDIANA (4) May 25, 2022 – Five hotels were acquired by affiliated shareholders of ZAC Holdings, LLC this past May, adding to a robust and diverse portfolio of hotels managed by ZMC Hotels, LLC. Each has a solid operating foundation with the two Fort Wayne, IN and the Bloomington, IN hotels offering extensive food and beverage volumes. All are in great position for continued growth under the astute management of ZMC Hotels. “We are excited to welcome these five new additions to the portfolio,” says John Henry, EVP, COO. “There are incredible teams at each location, and we are looking forward to these five hotels becoming the nucleus of our new Midwest Region, led by Christopher Johnson, Vice President of Operations.” These five new hotels include;
1. Residence Inn Chicago-North-Wilmette, Illinois, opened in 2014 with 130-rooms, located in Chicago’s north suburbs, and is one of the only premium-branded extended stay hotels in the area. The hotel is within a mile of the Old Orchard Mall and four miles from Northwestern University. Corporate demand includes Kraft, ITW, Northshore University Health, and ALE.
2. Hyatt Place Indiana University Downtown-Bloomington, Indiana, opened in 2014 with 172-rooms, located on the main throughfare in downtown Bloomington along Kirkwood Avenue, the Hyatt Place is four blocks from Indiana University. Major corporations driving demand include Boston Scientific, Cook, Berry Plastics, Catalent and Baxter.
3. Home2 Suites Notre Dame-Mishawaka/South Bend, Indiana, opened in 2017 with 126-rooms, located in the heart of Mishawaka, Indiana, near several corporate, medical, and retail demand generators. The hotel is just down the street from the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center and four miles from the University of Notre Dame.
4. Courtyard Downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana, opened in 2010 with 250-rooms, located in downtown Fort Wayne, is the only Marriott hotel in the area with a three-meal restaurant and bar called Conner’s Kitchen + Bar. The Grand Wayne Convention Center is connected to the Courtyard via an enclosed skywalk and is a major driver of group business. Parkview Field is just behind the hotel, offering views of the stadium from many guestrooms. Additional demand generators include Lincoln Financial, Steel Dynamics, GM, Parkview Health, Lutheran Health, and Raytheon.
5. Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana, opened in 2019 with 136-rooms, located in downtown Fort Wayne and adjacent the Courtyard Downtown Fort Wayne (above). As the only select-service hotel in the downtown area, the property offers unique food and beverage outlets, The Burger Bar, at ground level with street side walk-up service, and the upscale Conners Rooftop Bar, positioned overlooking Parkview Field. This property also benefits from the Great Wayne Convention Center and developments in the area including restaurants, multi-family developments and corporations.
